Trip to the Zoo!!
Once again...

1. You’ll laugh, but I finally gave up my title as “Miss West River Valley.” I also gave my last clogging performance and blew people out of the water!!! (That’s my opinion of course!) But it really was a bitter-sweet moment. I enjoyed all the events and opportunities that I had, but it’s definitely a different world. I will miss all of the people that I’ve met throughout this whole thing, but I hope that it won’t be the end of the friendships that I’ve made.
3. We had our Oxnam family reunion, which was quite the shindig.. I got to see family that I haven’t seen in over two years, and it was awesome to catch up! One of the highlights through this whole time was when I beat everyone in horse and was the reigning champion over EVERYONE! Yep that’s right, I beat all the guys in the competition. It was grand!
4. I started my new job at a chiropractors office, which I absolutely LOVE! I feel so at home there. I enjoy going to work everyday there, and enjoy all the people that come in.. :) And for those of you who would like to know how I answer the phone.. here it is. "It's a fantastic day at Alpine Family Chiropractic, this is Kaytlin.." I know right? hah..
5. Something else that’s new is my new guy Tyson Roberts. (Yes, like the chicken, my mom thinks that’s funny for some reason) but anywho, we actually met through his sister that I was pretty good friends with. He came back from BYU-I, we went on a date to the rodeo, and things just clicked and we’ve been dating a little over a month now!
6. And for the BIGGEST news.. I got my acceptance letter to BYU-I!!!! So contrary to what my last post said, things in my life are coming together and I couldn’t be happier! I don’t know what track I’ll be on yet, but should be finding that out in a week or so!! And I'll hopefully be staying at Autumn Winds, (following in my sisters shoes). :)
Seriously, how cool is it going to be for me to see this EVERYDAY!

So that’s just a little wrap up of what’s happened in the past few months that I’ve been away! But like I said, things are started to fall into place and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me!!!
(And excuse the pictures, they're not the best, but they're all I got!)

Cleaning..
So for about the past three days, I have spent my precious time doing something that desperately need to be done. I cleaned my room. Now, the reason why I decided to clean my room was because for about the past 4 months I've been sleeping in the living room on the couch. I've realized that I needed to start getting to bed earlier which wasn't working because I was up all night on the computer or I was watching T.V. So I knuckled down and got it done. But like I've told my mom, I'm not the type of person who can just pick up the clothes off the floor. I have to do all the laundry, clean out all the stuff that's piled up, reorganize the closet, clean out my drawers, vacuum, dust, etc. So I finally got it done.. and I've put up some pictures of the finished project. Let's just say that I'm definitely proud of this accomplishment, and I always forget how dang comfy my bed is!

Contemplating
I don't know about you, but have you ever had that feeling that you don't know what to do in life. That so many things come at you at once and you feel like you're catching a hundred softballs with just one mitt? Well, that's kind of how I feel right now. For the most part I have a pretty relaxed lifestyle, but in all reality I should be figuring out what I'm going to do with my life. I'm out of high school now and I'm supposed to be having a real life now. I found out that my counselor at the high school was wrong the whole time about a math class I had to take, which put me behind in applying for the colleges I actually wanted to go to. This might not be making sense.. but it does in my mind. I guess the whole procrastination thing has finally caught up with me and is totally biting me. I'll get it figured out.. but until then I'll, like Dory (from Finding Nemo) says.. "Just Keep Swimming" :)
